RELOCATION OF EXECUTIVE
FROM SYDNEY TO MELBOURNE

Background:

A busy CEO was leaving a company in Sydney to take a similar role in Melbourne.

Problem:

The client was in the public eye and given the sensitivity of their appointment and remuneration, the client wanted to be very discreet in their property dealings.

Solution:

G&J flew to Sydney to observe how the client currently lived, and to understand the type of home that would ideally suit in Melbourne.

A deep market survey was completed - of various properties within the price range and location. A shortlist was carefully put together.

G&J then arranged for the client to privately inspect the shortlisted properties, utilizing a non-disclosure agreement to protect the client.

Eventually a property was located, due diligence was completed and an offer was made via an Expression of Interest (EOI).

Given there were several offers of a similar price point, G&J negotiated to have the sale elevated to a private, boardroom auction.

Outcome:

G&J represented the client at the boardroom auction and successfully purchased the property under competitive bidding.
